The story of Isnino

Isnino Hassan Ali

Business Support Officer

Isnino landed her role as Business Support Officer during a short internship. A true all-rounder, she supports every department, with a smile on her face.

How Isnino found her way to Sidcon

“I was in the first year of my All-round Assistant Business Services program and had to find a 10-week internship. But COVID had just started, and with lockdowns looming, it was hard to find something. So I just randomly messaged a few companies. That’s how I ended up here. After my internship, Joost (Manager Operations) asked if I wanted to do a work-study program at Sidcon. I completed it successfully and never left. Now, 3 years have flown by!”

What appealed to you about Sidcon?

“Honestly? Nothing at first, haha. I ended up at a company that makes underground compactors, which wasn’t really something I was into. But now, I find it way more interesting than I expected!”

  • Employed since2022

“I’m always happy at work. Maybe it’s because of the people around me.”

A day in the life of a Business Support Officer

What production tasks do you handle?

“I mostly support Kevin and Martijn (our work preparation specialists). I enter materials into the system, help make schedules, and occasionally place orders. I don’t have a technical background, but I make sure everything arrives on time, gets processed and scanned, and I keep track of inventory.”

“The best part of my job? The variety!”

“After finishing my internship, I got the chance to choose what I wanted to do at Sidcon. I started with admin tasks and processing invoices, but now I help wherever I’m needed. I contribute to the internal Sidcon newspaper, assist with conventions, administration, work preparation, service & maintenance, and even sales. I’m involved with almost every department. That’s what I love, my job is never boring!”

How would your friends describe you? And do you see that at work?

“I think they’d say I’m cheerful, energetic, and persistent. I hear that from colleagues too.”

“People often ask why I’m always smiling or if I ever get grumpy. But I honestly never am at work. Sure, you get tired sometimes, but the people around me always lift my mood. So yes, I’m pretty much always happy!”
