Space shortage
Ingolstadt is one of many German cities where the development of housing is a top priority. To tackle the housing shortage, the city is focusing on three measures: new construction, repurposing former industrial sites, and increasing the density of existing residential areas.
Given the limited space and rising land prices, land must be used as efficiently and economically as possible. This also applies to the use of space for waste containers.
